The other day at school, a man by the name of Jeff Neal came and spoke to the students about running the race of life! I thought it was so awesome that he spoke about God and having him in your life. He talked about True Love Waits and I agree 100%. I could not imagine anything else.

The race is not always won by the most gifted or most talented person. It is usually won by the smartest and most determined person.

People usually lose the race because they are following the wrong crowd and not staying on the path.

Many people follow the crowd without first determining where the crowd is going.

Many people lose their dreams by following the crowd.

Your goals, your dreams, and your future will be lost if you can not say no to the crowd.

Your true friends would never make you lower your goals, your dreams, or your standards.

In any aspect of life if you have to do something for someone to like you, then you don't need them to like you. (They are not really your friend)

God gives us the strength to raise our goals, dreams, and standards.

Make the right choices and decisions that will allow you to become the Champion you were created to be.

I have not blogged in a while so I decided to blog now. Church last night was so awesome! I know, without a doubt, that the Holy Spirit was there! He has shown me so much and I hope to serve him and others. I am on Student Leadership this year and I know that if I am willing, that God will use me! He has blessed my youth group with such willing and inspirational workers and I know we will teach them also as they continue to teach us. I absolutely love our youth staff and they have devoted so much time and effort just to help us grow in the Lord. Thank you guys so much for all that you do. Also, thank you to all the people whose family time is being given up just to help us out. I love you guys! (:

I watched "House Bunny" two nights ago and it made me laugh! I think I was the loudest person in the whole theater. lol ( : Today has been really good and I can't wait for Sunday! Brian Fields is our new preacher and I am looking forward to hearing him! He has a beautiful wife, Erin, whom I hear can sing really good! I can't wait to hear her sing! My church family is so awesome! I love them to death! I really enjoy the fellowship that we have and I know God is going to do some pretty amazing things this year! I hope that we will continue to grow closer to the Lord and to one another! Immanuel Baptist Church... The Forever Family Place.

I went and saw the movie "Fireproof" last night and it was so, so good! It made me cry. But it was so worth watching! I absolutely liked it! I am so excited to see that people are still making good movies! It is hard to find a movie with no bad language, nudity, ect. But this movie does not have any of that, and I am so grateful! God Bless those who took part in the making of this movie and continue to bless the movie itself!
